There are about 13 million people died of cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage in Japan every year. Encephalopathy is the third of the highest mortality rate diseases after cancer and cardiovascular disease. CT scan can help to diagnose brain tumors but may miss cases of early cerebral infarction and small injuries in cerebral cortex.
